Okay, this story/article recopies and continues a sub-thread from the Nov 8 issue of the This Week in the War On Women group’s regular Saturday edition. Authored by ramara, that issue began with some thoughts onCinderella.”Much appreciation to ramara for her major collaborative assistance (including but not limited to suggesting this expansion, and adding the photo above).A resource list from my own slightly specialized shelves is the last section of this article. The sub-thread began with Tara the Antisocial Social Worker‘s comment, “Re fairy tales:  I’ve found it curious that the stories and films for the youngest kids are mostly about women and girls (Cinderella, Snow White, The Little Mermaid, etc). But for every other age group, the stories are overwhelmingly about boys and men.  Where does that change, and why?
